Let me introduce myself..

My health journey..

My health issues started in my early 20's when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Doctors told me post thyroidectomy that all I would need to worry about is taking a little hormone replacement pill.

Had I known then, what I know now, I could supported my healing with nutritional changes and kept my thyroid, where it belonged.

Having spent years struggling with cold sensitivity, fatigue and muscle aches, blaming every symptom on thyroid imbalances, I hit a low point and started experiencing panic attacks and anxiety.

Starting over..

After my first consultation with a naturopathic nutritionist, the results were incredible. Panic attacks stopped, anxiety dropped away, I had increased mental clarity and more! From that moment, I was hooked. I had to WHY and HOW it worked!

This drive to understand, led me to the College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I studied for 4 years to qualify as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist.

The doctors only suggestion was anti-anxiety medication. I know myself well enough to know, that if I am panicking, something must be wrong. I was completely uninterested in a solution based in symptom suppression instead of looking at and resolving the root cause.

By applying this knowledge, I can assess your health holistically and create a robust plan to support your aims, so you can move forward with vitality to nourish your dreams.

I will educate and empower you to improve your own wellbeing with healthy and delicious choices! Working with me, will give you the tools to look after yourself going forward.

Did you know..

Onions

In 16th century Spain, onions were a daily dietary stable, so much so they were handed out to the poor to prevent spread of infectious diseases. Onions boast high levels of an anti-oxidant called Quercetin. Not only is it great for fighting inflammation, but also works to rebuild bone (Rani, 2016) and demonstrate a wide spectrum of antiviral activities on respiratory illnesses. (Rizky et al, 2022)

Artichokes

Artichokes (also called “globe artichoke”) are actually a type of thistle that has been cultivated, to be used for food. Artichoke's ancestor before the cultivation, was a cardoon, which was used by the ancient Greeks and Romans. They can still be found in North Africa. Artichokes are packed with anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals critical to your health. Its also a pre-biotic (what probiotics eat) so its great for your gut microbiome.
